I was excited to read the newest Harry Potter story, albeit in play form. Going to London right now to see the play performed is not in the cards, so reading the play is the next best thing.
The play follows Harry and Ginny’s son, Albus as he begins his own adventures at Hogwarts. Harry’s reputation leaves big shoes for Albus to fill and he feels he can never live up to expectations. Draco Malfoy’s own son, Scorpius is Albus’s best friend. The two decide to use a time turner to go back and right a major wrong, the death of Cedric Diggory. Of course, any change in time sets off a chain of changes in the future that must then be fixed. The story moved quickly and was very exciting.
I really enjoyed reading this script. Harry Potter’s world is so imaginative and full of life and the characters are so memorable that it is wonderful to read an additional story about them.
